Justice R K Agrawal Appointed as President of NCDRC

Former Supreme Court Judge Justice RK Agrawal has been appointed as the President of National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission (NCDRC). Justice RK Agrawal retired as Judge of the Supreme Court on May 04, 2018. Justice Agrawal succeeds Justice D.K. Jain who retires from the Chair of NCDRC President on May 31.

Justice R.K. Agrawal was one of the Judges in the Constitution Bench Verdict of landmark right to privacy case (Justice K.S. Puttaswamy (retd.) v. Union of India).

अब बिना टेस्ट के ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस बनाना होगा आसान

भारत के परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय ने ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस हासिल करने की प्रक्रिया को सरल बनाने के लिए नियमों में फेर बदल व बदलाव किया गया है। भारत सरकार के परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय ने इस संबंध में एक अधिसूचना जारी किया है और कहा है कि नये नियम एक जून 2024 से लागू होंगे। अब नए नियमों को सरल बनाया गया है ताकि लोगों को ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस बनाने  में सहूलियत हो और किसी प्रकार का कोई दिक्कतों का सामना नहीं करना पड़े।  अब नए नियम के अनुसार  लाईसेंस लेने के लिए आरटीओ के समक्ष ड्राइविंग टेस्ट की आवश्यकता नहीं है। अधिसूचना के अनुसार आवेदकों को अब आरटीओ कार्यालय में ड्राइविंग टेस्ट देने की बजाय मान्यता प्राप्त निजी ड्राइविंग स्कूलों में ही टेस्ट देना पड़ेगा। जिसमे ड्राइविंग पास करना होगा, यदि आवेदक इन स्कूलों में परीक्षा पास करता है तो उन्हें प्रमाण पत्र आरटीओ में दिखा कर बिना ड्राइविंग टेस्ट के  ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस के लिए आवेदन कर सकेंगे। मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी अधिसूचना के अनुसार बिना ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस के वाहन चलाने पर वयस्क के मामले में जुर्माना 2,000 तक का हो  सकता है। वहीं नाबालिगों के मामले में

What is difference between transfer deed and transfer of property by will ?

A Will differs from a deed in the following respects: (i) a deed operates eo instanti, i.e., from the date of its execution; a Will comes into operation on the death of the testator; (ii) a deed is ordinarily irrevocable, unless there is an express power of revocation; a Will can be revoked at any time by the testator during his life time. It is ambulatory and it becomes effective and irrevocable on the death of the testator; (iii) in case of mistake in a deed, the Court has power to rectify it; a Will cannot be rectified by any Court of law. No consideration is required for making a Will. Thus disposition of property takes place posthumously after the death of the testator.
